About the conference
The European Commission (EC), Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI), and the European Investment Bank (EIB) organised the '11th annual EU conference on EAFRD financial instruments', which took place on Thursday, 9 October 2025, in Milan, Italy.
The conference explored the critical role of EAFRD financing in shaping a sustainable future for European agriculture and its intricate agri-food value chains. This comprehensive gathering brought together key representatives from managing authorities, financial bodies, the European Commission and EIB Group, and leading stakeholders to discuss the latest developments in CAP financial instruments, innovative financing solutions, and strategies for a resilient and sustainable agricultural sector.
