About the workshop
The European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) organised a fi-compass thematic workshop 'Financing RePowerEU - Shared management financial instruments combined with grants', on 14 and 15 November 2023 (two full days), in Vilnius, Lithuania.
This fi-compass workshop provided participants with the opportunity to gain practical insights into the implementation of shared management financial instruments combined with grants that support energy efficiency and small-scale renewables for the period 2021-2027. Drawing on the experience of combined financial instruments in Lithuania as well as other Baltic countries, the workshop offered participants a broad range of opportunities to exchange and share best practices with representatives of managing authorities of EU shared management funds and bodies implementing financial instruments from different Member States and regions. Additionally, the workshop featured project examples in Vilnius that were financed through Lithuania's 2014-2020 ERDF financial instruments.
