About the event
The European Commission (EC), Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL), the European Investment Bank (EIB) Advisory Services Department for fi-compass, Erste Group, Impact Europe, Microfinance Centre, European Microfinance Network, and FEBEA are organising the ‘CEE Social Economy Forum: boosting finance and cooperation’ taking place on Friday, 8 November 2024, at the premises of Erste Group in Vienna, Austria.
A networking dinner will also take place on the evening prior to the event, on Thursday, 7 November 2024.

Background
For the first time, this forum will gather policymakers, European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) managing authorities, national promotional banks, microfinance and social finance providers, impact investors, and experts from the EC, EIB Group, and Council of Europe Development Bank to discuss the future of the social economy in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
The forum aims to enable exchange and foster collaboration among the stakeholders, building on their specific experience as well as showcasing practical examples of the available financing products in support of the sector.
